    Start date: April 2026 (can infill until June 2026)

    Course Duration: 16 Months

    Delivery method

    • One day per month 

     

    As an apprentice, you will work towards the level 3 Business Administrator standard, and may also be required to sit functional skills at level 2 in Maths and English prior to completion (functional skills will not be required if exemptions are held).

    During of the apprenticeship, the employer and Access Trainer will agree when the apprentice is ready for the end point assessment (EPA). 

    An independent assessment organisation will carry out the EPA to assess whether the apprentice has met all of the requirements of the standard. EPA includes:

    • Portfolio based interview 
    • Project presentation

          Apprentices will learn about business awareness, IT systems & processes, ethical standards, financial reporting & accounting and management accounting.

          On completion, apprentices could become successful in junior accountancy roles, or could go on to further studies with AAT Level 4.

            The apprentice will work towards ACCA Chartership at level 7. If you hold a degree in a relevant field (accounting or finance), you may be exempt from some of the ACCA exams.  

            ACCA accepts a variety of other professional qualifications, including AAT and CIMA, and exemptions may apply based on your previous studies or work experience.  

            Please refer to the ACCA online calculator for guidance on your entry point.
