Incentives
Employers can receive a £1,000 incentive for taking on apprentices aged 16 -18, or under 25 with an education, health and care plan. Half is paid after 13 weeks and the rest after 52 weeks - all automatically processed when your apprentice enrols. This applies to new recruits or existing staff who join an apprenticeship, helping to offset any additional costs or support needed.
