    Course Information

    Course duration: Approximately 42 months. 

    Delivery method:  

    • Classroom delivery 
    • One day per week. 

    The apprentice will work towards ACCA Chartership at level 7. If you hold a degree in a relevant field (accounting or finance), you may be exempt from some of the ACCA exams.  

    ACCA accepts a variety of other professional qualifications, including AAT and CIMA, and exemptions may apply based on your previous studies or work experience.

    • Financial Accountant  
    • Management Accountant  
    • Auditor  
    • Tax Advisor  
    • Finance Manager  
    • Financial Analyst. 

    During the apprenticeship, the employer and Access Trainer will agree when the apprentice is ready for the end point assessment (EPA).  

    An independent assessment organisation will carry out the EPA to assess whether the apprentice has met all of the requirements of the standard.  

    ACCA has 13 exams, divided into three levels:  

    • Applied Knowledge – 3 exams  
    • Applied Skills – 6 exams  
    • Strategic Professional – 4 exams.

        The CIMA qualification, which is recognised globally, focuses on management accounting, financial management, and business strategy. The programme prepares individuals for leadership roles in accounting and business.   

      • Is CIMA recognised worldwide?

        CIMA is recognised internationally, with members working in various industries worldwide, from accounting to finance, and from public to private sectors.

      • Where could this take you?

        On completion, CIMA Chartership opens doors to senior management and leadership positions in accounting and finance.
