Take your place as a technical expert by achieving the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure certification.
Learning Path Overview
Prove your skills with complex enterprise infrastructure solutions from designing and deploying to operating and optimising.
Take the lead in enterprise infrastructure technologies by achieving the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure certification.
To earn your certification, you’ll take a core exam and a lab exam.
This hands-on exam tests your ability to plan, design, operate, and optimise dual-stack solutions (IPv4 and IPv6) for the infrastructure of complex enterprise networks.
Display your skills, knowledge, and abilities in networking, focusing on enterprise level switching, routing, and multicast components to facilitate cross-platform (inter)operability and integration with the latest software-defined technologies.
Verify your ability to design, deploy, and manage software-defined networks, with Cisco’s SDN feature range and services for SD-WANs, SD-Access networks, and cloud.
Re-enforce your expertise in building scalable, fault tolerant, high-performance networks, while integrating security and services into a variety of highly optimised enterprise network solutions.
Demonstrate your knowledge of network automation to improve efficiency, reduce human error, and lower operating expenses. Automate everyday network tasks and automatically manage and control repetitive processes to deliver tangible service improvements.
Prerequisites
As our most advanced certifications, Cisco expert certifications tell the world you’re among the best of the best in your field. Many candidates have previous experience in enterprise infrastructure and are aiming for a senior-level or leadership position.
Whilst there are no formal prerequisites, learners are recommended to have five to seven years of experience with designing, deploying, operating and optimising enterprising networking technologies and solutions prior to taking the exam.
